John Moschella

Dr. Moschella is a three-decade veteran of the Revere, Massachusetts Fire Department, where he attained the rank of Deputy Chief. He is currently an adjunct professor at Anna Maria College. Dr. Moschella co-authored the state's hazardous materials response training program. He has authored numerous articles in fire-related journals and is a frequent contributor to and current editorial board member of The International Fire Service Journal of Leadership and Management. He is a National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer and a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers. In 2002, Dr. Moschella was the first recipient of the National Fire Protection Association's George D. Miller Award. He holds an MA in Fire Science and Administration from Anna Maria College and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College.
