Students who have at least five years of experience in emergency management in a progressively more responsible capacity may be eligible for Advanced Standing. Students who qualify for the Advanced Standing designation earn the master’s in Emergency Management degree in ten courses. Students who have less experience in emergency management follow the Direct Entry path, which requires 12 courses.
