  • Montgomery/ GI Bill®
Anna Maria College is certified to train veterans under the Montgomery and Post-9/11 GI Bills. Under Chapter 30, Active Duty members enroll and pay $100 per month for 12 months. They are then entitled to receive a monthly education benefit once they have completed a minimum service obligation. Under Chapter 1606, a reservist must be actively drilling and have a 6-year obligation in the Selected Reserve to be eligible. Apply online or in in person by visiting your nearest VA regional office. GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
  • Yellow Ribbon Program
As a member of the Yellow Ribbon program, Anna Maria College will provide additional scholarships up to $1000 each year to eligible veterans to assist them in paying for tuition and fees at the university.

Veterans who are entitled to receive 100 percent of the benefits payable under the Post- 9/11 GI Bill may receive additional financial assistance from Anna Maria College and the Veterans Administration for tuition that exceeds the in-state maximum amount payable under the Post-9/11 GI Bill program.

Anna Maria College is approved by the Board of Regents of Higher Education for the purpose of training veterans and other eligible persons. Veterans who are eligible to receive benefits should consult the Registrar's Office for the specific details of application and enrollment certification. Any changes in course registration and/or full-time status must be promptly reported to the Registrar's Office.
