Clementine Bihiga: From Masters of Public Administration Graduate to Book Author

As a 2014 Anna Maria College Online Master of Public Administration graduate, Clementine Bihiga is on the road to success.

A former evacuee of Rwanda, Clementine’s refugee camp upbringing inspired her will and dedication to “make it,” to achieve her scholastic and professional dreams and give back.  Thanks to the flexibility of the online program, Clementine cared for her young son, maintained a full-time career and completed her online MPA program full time in just one year.

In 2015, the young mother of two became an author to her first book titled, Happily Broken: Discovering Happiness Through Pain and Suffering. This memoir is an heroic telling of her difficult beginning and how she transformed her world into a life of passion, perseverance, and prosperity.

Always encouraging others, Clementine’s advice for those considering higher education is, “Don't be afraid! If you really want it, you have a great team of professionals at Anna Maria who will help you achieve your academic and professional goals!”
